When Rocket Foods decided to future proof their business by bringing the skills of both Rocket Kitchen and Ma Cherie together under one roof, they chose Wildfire to design, specify, plan and help execute a purpose built 1500sqm production facility in Penrose.

Peter Yeo embraced the role of project manager and together with the expertise of Savory Construction, White Refrigeration, Stainless Kitchens and Moffat, has successfully handed Rocket Foods an impressive production bakery and kitchen that is arguably the best bakery kitchen facility in New Zealand.

Alongside the coolrooms, freezer rooms, blast chillers and gleaming stainless, specialist bakery equipment from the Moffat range makes this kitchen a baker’s dream. Two large Tagliavini double gas rack ovens, a Tagliavini Rotovent single rack oven, a Rotel multideck baking oven and a Metos Culino 150L kettle feature amongst an array of mixers, pastry sheeters and other heavy duty premium equipment from the Moffat range.
